How does the Spring On-line Pike Tourney work?

This event runs over a period May 2-31st
You can fish any waterbody contained in the province of Ontario
You can fish any day or any number of days at any time you wish over that period, obeying OKFS General Rules
You can enter as many fish as you like over that period, with the three longest qualifying
You must sign up with Tourney X, and submit all fish entries thru them
You must return signed registration package before event date commences
You must have an event identifier in every photo submission
Online event Identifiers will be mailed or indicated by email
You must use an approved measuring device for all fish submissions
Your returned Registration Pkg is an admission of your understanding all OKFS General Rules

Identifier

Identifiers for this event will be indicated in the last 24hrs prior to the event
Each participant will have a unique number that must be visible in every photo submission
The identifier will require downloading and printing in a small but visible size for visible photo recognition
The identifier should be sealed in a transparent waterproof material ie. ziplock bag
You can include the identifier in any manner that allows for instant identity by judges ie. on wrist or board
The identifier is your responsibility, so be sure your system works prior to tournament day(s)

The OKFS Multi-species Online Tournament enables anglers who are not familiar or advanced enough or just don't live close to the Great Lakes, to take advantage of the largest bodies of freshwater in Ontario. This is more of an inland season-long tournament implementing the popular fish-at-will online format that OKFS has become known for. Anglers are able to target their species over a 6 month period from May to October, allowing them to catch these fish as they migrate or as the anglers themselves travel to those locations.

How do I qualify for the Ontario Kayak Fishing Championship?

To qualify for the Ontario Provincial Kayak Fishing Championship you have several options and many opportunities.

OKFS offers 110 chances to qualify for the Provincial Championship:

GREAT LAKES Online Challenge uses Top 5 per species for 60
ONTARIO MULTI-SPECIES Online uses Top 20 finishers for 20
SPRING PIKE TOURNEY Online uses Top 10 finishers for 10
BAY of QUINTE MULTI-SPECIES uses Top 10 finishers per species for 20
ONTARIO KAYAK FISHING CHAMPIONSHIP uses Top 3 for 2020

Other qualifying events:
Any top 5 finish at any event in Ontario between April 1 2019 - September 1 2019, from a kayak will qualify an individual for the Provincial Championship. Placement and use of kayak must be verifiable.
You must prove your qualification prior to registration for this event.

What does the Championship offer?
An opportunity at a $4K CASH PAYOUT plus $2000 cash to a single winner, based on 40 anglers.

General

Boards must be a manufactured board to be approved for OKFS on-line tournaments
Other boards may be allowed but must be approved by an OKFS Official at live events only
Your board must be capable of accommodating the length of species being targeted
The only boards measuring over 36" currently approved by OKFS are Rapala 40 and Rapala Magnum 60"
We are always open to accepting new boards provided they meet all criteria
