OKFS Great Lakes On-line Challenge

The first of its kind in Ontario, this online kayak fishing tournament allows anglers to target Great Lakes fish throughout the duration of the season enabling them to take advantage of the seasonal movement of these large migratory fish from kayaks. This event encourages Canadian and American participation for all Ontario:US connected Great Lakes, excluding Lake Michigan.

LOCATION: Great Lakes excluding Lake Michigan

FISHABLE LAKES: Erie, Huron/St Clair, Ontario/Quinte, Superior

ELIGIBILITY: Anglers fishing Ontario/U.S. connected Great Lakes

TIME: Any

TARGET SPECIES: Bass, Musky, Pike, Salmon, Trout, Walleye +

FEE: $25 per species

DEADLINE: May 1 -two species min, June 1 - three species min

​Format: Longest of each species wins cash prize

Angler Minimum: Anglers may register as solo entry but risks losing Admin Fees

Entries: Identify which species you are registering for 1 day prior minimum

Cash Prize: per each longest species, minimum lengths will apply

​Payouts: 75% of entry fees/species caught

Qualifier: Top 5 per species qualify for 2019/2020 OKFS Championship
